The Sanctuary of Saint James is a parish church in Małujowice and one of its most valuable monuments. Origins of the building date back to the 13th century. The church consists of exceptionally valuable Gothic wall paintings considered one of the most wonderful in Poland. Worthy of attention is also the 15th-century fencing with gates around the church.
The Sanctuary of Saint James in Małujowice is a great example of sacral Gothic architecture. The church was built in 1250 and rebuilt just one hundred years later. It was then when the construction of polychromes depicting scenes from the New Testament started. The beautiful paintings were covered with plaster for many years - they weren't discovered until the 20th century.
The old cemetery can be found near the church. Its most interesting part is the monolithic stone cross, considered a penitential cross.
