The Carriage and Sledge Museum in Galowice has a collection of over fifty carriages of various types. These are: carriages, carriages, snow sleighs and a horse fire truck. Among the collections you can also find harnesses, bridles and cavalry saddles. The museum organizes temporary exhibitions, field shows and theater performances.
The Carriage and Sledge Museum is located in Galowice in the Żórawina commune near Wrocław. They were located in a former farm complex, in a historic half-timbered granary from 1730, in the area of former landed property belonging to the von Lieres und Wilkau family.
All horse-drawn vehicles in the museum belong to the Gallen Foundation's public benefit organization. On the initiative of this foundation, the wooden granary building was restored and the Museum of Carriages and Sleds in Galowice was founded in 2011. Educational classes are provided by a conference room and a world of meetings and presentations restored on the farm yard.
