The Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is located in the church under the same invocation. It is a modernist building based on a reinforced concrete structure. A sanctuary was established here since 1998, the first one under such a call in Poland. Here is the Image of the Heart of Jesus. Attention is also drawn to the neo-Gothic altar, depicting the Last Supper.
The church was built on the basis of the design of the architect Bernard Stahl. Its construction lasted from 1913 to 1919. It was probably the first temple in the then Prussian state, based on a reinforced concrete structure. From its inception until the end of World War II, it housed an evangelical garrison church. It was also the first open temple after the war. She is currently known for organizing live nativity scenes during the Christmas season.
