The church was built in the early 20th century according to the design of the German architect Jürgen Kröger. Currently, the brick building has an eclectic style, in which the neo-Gothic predominates, hoverer decorative neo-Romanesque adornments also appear. The temple represents a hall type church with an adjacent tower of a height of 65 meters. Inside there are, among others, antique pipe organs, stone altar, and wooden altar of the 12th Podolian Uhlan Regiment.
Originally, there was an evangelical church. Only after the end of the World War II and a general renovation a Roman Catholic parish has been created there. During the reconstruction, after the damage caused by the Allied air raids, the roof of the building was covered with copper, the stained glasses were replaced, and the organs were repaired. Unfortunately, it haven't been possible to restore their original functionality and now it is a 16 pitch instrument, not a 32 pitch instrument.Less
