The medieval castle now houses a cultural center. A library for children was organized in the baroque wing room, while in the rooms in the Romanesque wing there are knights' hall, entertainment hall and pub. A tower is also open to visitors. The castle organizes knights' fights and historical performances. Every year there is also a "Polish Poetry Competition named after Jan Śpiewak and Anna Kamieńska. "
The castle was originally built in the Gothic style, and then rebuilt in the style of Classicist Baroque. Architectural elements from the 14th century were preserved during the works. During World War II it was completely destroyed, it was rebuilt in its entirety in the 1960s.
It houses the headquarters of the Knighthood of the Knights, which mainly deals with the reconstruction of the period around the Grunwald, including the staging of the so-called "Battle for the Cow". It is a tournament held every year between Świdnin and Białogard, which commemorates the historic conflict of 1469.
