Church Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a Gothic building made of dark brick. Architecturally, it has the character of a basilica. It has three naves and a presbytery surrounded by an ambit, i.e. a narrow passage that was created from the extension of the side naves, characteristic of Gothic and Romanesque buildings. There is an icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the church.
The temple was built in 1338 and was then called the St. Mary's Church. In the next two centuries a sacristy and a tower were added to it. In 1538 it was transformed into a Protestant Collection and since then sermons were delivered in German. The church again became Catholic only after the end of World War II. The building was damaged several times, including as a result of lightning strikes, fires and hostilities, but each time it was rebuilt.
