The monumental basilica is the largest church in Lower Silesia. Inside it, on the main altar, is the most valuable work of medieval art Kamienna Madonna Strzegomska.
Noteworthy are the valuable side altars, a sandstone carved pulpit, and a stone baptismal font from the 16th century. Fragments of wall polychromes, gravestones and epitaphs from around 300 years have also been preserved. The church tower has a valuable church bell from the fourteenth century. Outside the temple there are three richly carved portals, which also have a fourteenth-century pedigree. The construction of the current temple began in the first half of the fourteenth century and was completed in 1530.
Over the years, the church has been rebuilt and modernized many times. In the 18th century, a dangerous fire consumed the temple's equipment. Currently, the rebuilt temple houses up to 4,000 at one time. faithful. In 2012, the church of St. St. Peter and Paweł the Apostles by decree of the President of the Republic of Poland was recognized as a Historical Monument.
