Środa Śląska Regional Museum is located in the building of the Old Town Hall. It is dedicated to the history of the city and the region. Collections are divided into the following exhibitions: Środa Treasure, Prison Tower, Workshop - old tools for wood processing, Archeology of Środa Land, and Small Środa Treasure.
The facility was established in the building of the Old Town Hall in 1993 on the initiative of the voivode of Wrocław. It is an organizational unit of the powiat of Środa. It is co-financed by the municipality of Środa Śląska. The exhibition Środa Treasure is dedicated to the treasure discovered between 1985 and 1988. The exposition Prison Tower presents reconstructed 14th-century prison cells.Workshop - old tools for wood processing is an exhibition of old carpentry tools. Small Środa Treasure shows jewelry and souvenirs of merchant Otto Paul Pavel while Archeology of Środa Land is dedicated to the archeological research and excavations carried out in the region.Less
