Youth Space Station
Local name: Młodzieżowa Stacja Kosmiczna
This is an imitation space station called Youth Space Station. The room serves as an audiovisual room for didactic tours and workshops, but is also available to tourists. Installed in the interior of the facility not only allow projection of various types of multimedia materials, but also simulation of the conduct of spacecraft using specialized programs.
The building was built in 2008. HDFs were used for this purpose, while imitations of the devices were used to remove parts from dismantled computers. The local youth participated in the process. This is the only type of construction in Poland.
The construction of the station was accompanied by great interest, including in the media, M. Gen. Hermaszewski and even the European Space Agency.
In 2008, American NASA astronaut George Castro visited the place, leaving many souvenirs.
