The museum is located on the site of a former German polygon, active between 1940-1945. The oldest exhibits come from the Second World War. The museum also features the well-preserved Meteor 2 and Meteor 3 rockets from the 1970s. The museum also features an exhibition "Leba in old photography" and a gallery of mayors of the city.
The museum also has its own lookout tower. The offer includes guided tours of the fortifications that remember the beginnings of a polygon. From the German buildings were preserved, among others: command bunker, launch funnel, foundations of radar stations. Nearly the very end of World War II, the Rheintochter (Rhein-daughter) and Rheinbote (Rheinbote) Rheumatoid Tests were conducted here. The messenger was an improved version of the famous V2 rocket.
After the war, in the 1970s, research was conducted on the Polish meteorological rocket Meteor. Shortly thereafter, a similar construction was made to the Russian and American equipment of that time. When the matter came to light, the state withdrew funds for research, the security service took all the documentation and the program closed.
