The Czołpińska Dune is one of two dune areas in the Słowiński National Park, next to the Łącka Dune, located closer to Łeba, made available thanks to tourist routes. It is a moving dune with a maximum height of 56 meters. A 7-kilometer trail leads here - initially through the forest, and then through sandy hills covered with sparse vegetation and towards the beach.
The dune owes its "desertness" to a specific terrain. As it is mobile, the landscape is constantly changing, so you can observe various interesting and unstable forms taken by sand. In other parts of the dune, there are also different types of grass, lichens, and bryophytes that prevent the sand from moving further.
After walking the trail, which takes about 2 hours, you can go right along the seashore towards Łeba, or left - towards Rowy. Taking the latter, you can see the Czołpino Lighthouse and the Lighthouse Keeper's House.
