White Eagle Museum

The second largest museum in Poland gathering military equipment and equipment of Polish troops - in this respect it is second only to the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw. The huge and extremely interesting collection focuses primarily on the period of World War II, and its ornament is the sea-going torpedo boat ORP "Brave".

The museum is located in one of the buildings of the former Rejów steelworks. The collection was placed both inside and in the neighboring area. Eye-catching above all are military vehicles and artillery equipment standing outside. There are tanks, planes, cannons and military vehicles, and even a torpedo boat.

The German armored gun StuG IV is unique in the country. Nevertheless, the collection presented inside the building is interesting. It mainly concerns the history of the Polish army during World War II and in the post-war period. It shows the diversity of forms of struggle for freedom, from the regular army through the guerrilla to the units emerging in exile. A lot of space was devoted to the armed deed in the Świętokrzyskie region.
