Museum of Masovia Village is a typical open-air museum. On its site one can see reconstructions of polish farms from the nineteenth century, created with a great attention to details. Its settings are often used as a background in ads or movies.
Museum was created in the beginning of 1970s. Visitors can see several peasant farms, a manor house, a wooden church and a mill with windmills. Farms were elaborately reconstructed. Even farm animals live here. For art amateurs, museum presents numerous folk sculptures of biblical, historical or even fantasy topics. Unique piece is a gothic sculpture Pieta from Lutowin.
On site one can buy folk handicrafts of local artists, including wicker products or fabrics. For active people there is a possibility of a horse-riding or a carriage ride.
At the end of the route, guests can visit a regional tavern, where they can try a bread with lard, a grain coffee, a compote or pickled cucumbers.
