The open-air museum in Sidzin is a small object that presents the culture of the population living in the eastern part of the Żywiec Beskids. There are several residential and farm buildings presenting typical farms and rural industrial facilities such as a sawmill or windmill.
The beginnings of the open-air museum was a small regional chamber, in which Adam Leśniak with children coming to the colonies to Sidzina collected old people collected from people. Over time, the chamber expanded, the first huts appeared. Today they are fully equipped. You can see furniture, dishes, dresses, handicrafts used by the local people.
The open-air museum has also been reconstructed a sawmill with equipment and a windmill. The farms gathered tools for field and forestry works, as well as wagons and sleighs, which were a popular means of transport.
