Church of St. Anthony

Local name: Kościół św. Antoniego

The church was built in the mid-18th century according to the design of Jan de Oppitz from Lviv. Represents the so-called Tuscan, basilica style. It has three naves - the main one is topped with a barrel vault with lunettes and two side naves with a brick vault. Attention is drawn to the baroque portal made of black marble, the neo-Renaissance main altar and four side altars.

In the church there is a picture with the image of St. Antoni Padewski by Szymon Czechowicz, from the 1860s. The altar also features Baroque, 15th-century sculptures of the Mother of God with Baby, Saint. Wojciech and św. Stanislaus. There is a two-level courtyard in front of the temple. On the lower level is the sculpture of the Virgin Mary Immaculate Conception from 1912. On the higher, partly walled and balustrade, you can see the stations of the Passion.
