The manor house in Russów is the place where she was born, spent her childhood and youth, the famous writer Maria Dąbrowska. It was here, after the writer's death, the Maria Dąbrowska Museum was established. It is worth seeing the beautiful rooms in which the writer lived and the room dedicated to the film adaptation of "Nights and Days".

The museum's collections illustrate Dąbrowska's stay in Russów. We will see here the reconstructed maiden's room of the writer, her father's room, bedroom, living room and court kitchen. The institution has collected numerous photographs, documents, manuscripts and personal documents. From 2011, you can see a film exhibition here, which includes the original costumes of Barbara and Bogumił from the film "Nights and Days", posters and photos of the main characters of the novel.

The manor in Russów did not belong to the family of Maria Dąbrowska, but was only managed by her father, Józef Szumski. The writer spent here the most beautiful years of her childhood and youth. She expressed it in literary works. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, the museum organizes many events related to folk rituals and costume meetings, such as 'Sundays at Niechciców'.
