Kalisz church, called the collegiate church of St. Joseph is the most important center of worship in Poland. Joseph. This historic collegiate church was raised by Pope Paul VI to the status of Minor Basilica. During several hundred years of its existence, many monuments were collected inside. These include, among others: the paten from the 12th century, the cup donated by Casimir the Great, the image of the Holy Mother from 1424, as well as the image of the Holy Family from the 17th century.

The Gothic temple was built in 1359. In the 18th century, during the construction disaster, the facade and part of the nave collapsed. During the reconstruction, a baroque nave and a tower topped with a helmet were added to the Gothic presbytery. Currently, the church represents a three-nave basilica building with a presbytery, in which a Gothic star vault has been preserved. The classicist high altar is decorated with canonical stalls and the Gothic image of the Virgin Mary.

In the baroque chapel of St. Joseph's gilded altar, and on it is surrounded by the worship of the faithful, a picture of the Holy Family, which was already in 1796 decorated with papal crowns. When the miraculous picture is closed, another work appears on the latch - "Adoration of the Three Kings" from the 19th century.
