The church The apostles Piotr and Paweł in Reszel were probably built after 1360. This brick, sacred building does not have a separate presbytery. It was built on a rectangular plan on a stone foundation. From the west side there is an eight-storey tower with a height of 52 m, from which you can admire the panorama of the area. It is a church in the Gothic style, three-nave, oriented, hall.
The paintings of St. Peter and Paul, as well as Saint. Catherine from 1821 by brush Antoni Blank. The main altar was founded by Józef von Hohenzollern. The star-shaped vault adorns the interior of the nave corpus. Four eighteenth-century statues of the apostles come from the main altar of the Jesuit church. The Rococo tabernacle with the throne was made in 1767.
Two bells sound from the church tower: the larger one emits full hours, while the smaller one a quarter hour. The church is open to tourists and can be visited with a guide. The church was destroyed several times by fires, extended and consecrated. In the years 1822-1843 he received new equipment.
