In the market square, in the tenement house No. 1, which since 1865 is the seat of the city authorities, is the entrance to an unusual tourist attraction - huge and mysterious underground, which in 2015 includes a two-storey basement under the building of the City Hall and a section of the 17th-century collector . The journey allows you to familiarize yourself with the part of medieval urban development. The route is about 120 meters below the Mostowa Street and the northern part of the Market Square to the tenement house. Underground corridors sometimes reach as much as 10 meters below the ground level.

The underground served the inhabitants of the city as well as arriving merchants as stores of various goods. wine, meat and salt mined on the territory of Przemysl. Underground cellars were buzzing with life - they were trafficked, there were workshops of artisans and hams. Sometimes they were even used as accommodation.

The concept of underground development was born around 2001. The first of its kind to be put into use is from the 2012 Artistic Bearyard under the Bear, which takes place, among others. concerts, author meetings and exhibitions.
