Arsenal is the main branch of the Museum of Prudnik Land. It is located near the city walls, in the neighborhood of 2 towers. It was there in the Middle Ages that weapons were stored. At present there are permanent exhibitions of the museum, focusing on the history of the city, collections of local art and archeology. After the remodeling of 2004, temporary exhibitions were also organized, focusing on the work of local and foreign artists.
In the past, Arsenal has been serving as a prison for several centuries. Later, it was transformed into a water tower that powered municipal waterworks. The museum was first opened in 1959. The Museum also conducts scientific activities through the organization of museum lessons for students, conferences, competitions and many other activities.
