Church St. John the Baptist in Pilsen is a Gothic fortress from the 14th century. It was founded by members of the Order of Saint Benedict of Tyniec. In his interiors you can see well-preserved examples of sacred art from different epochs. Art nouveau figural polychrome from the beginning of the twentieth century. It was entered in the register of monuments.
Baroque altars, a crucifix in the rainbow, a late-Gothic 16th-century statue of Our Lady with the Child and rococo organs are preserved in the temple. Neo-gothic equipment comes from Tyrol, they were purchased in the 19th century.
The inhabitants of the city founded a marble epitaph for Sebastian Petryc from Pilzno, a doctor, a philosopher and an interpreter. Its place was found in the church of John the Baptist, where it was placed in 1908.
