On the trail of wooden architecture of Małopolskie Voivodship you can find many wonderful monuments. Among them is the church of Sts. John the Baptist in Orawa. The church was built in the 1750s, making it the oldest wooden church in Upper Orawa.
Wooden Church of Sts. John the Baptist has a framework. Its design is impressive because of the relatively wide aisle and church tower with turrets and a helmet with four smaller turrets.
Inside the church is decorated with polychromy depicting scenes from the life of the patron of the temple, St. John the Baptist, as well as other figures - Jesus Christ, apostles or saints venerated in Hungary. The main altar, side altars and pews set in the chancel come from the 18th century.
By the church of St. John the Baptist is in the cemetery. The whole is surrounded by a wall.
