The museum's activity is mainly based on the documentation of the history of the Kalisz-Masovian industrial district. The facility is located in an old cloth factory from 1824, which used to produce high quality cloth.
The Museum of Industrial History contains over 12,000 exhibits related to the European industry: steam machines, printing machines, sewing machines, laboratory instruments, household appliances and many others. Being in the museum it is worth paying attention to the collection of jacquard designs from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries as well as antique fabrics, embroidery and lace.
The museum also offers a number of attractions for tourists. These include educational classes including paper crafts - independent drawing of paper in one of the workshops.
