The Natural History Exposition of the Ojców National Park consists of the multimedia, modern exposition showing the process of forming of Prądnik Valley and characteristic for this region monadnocks, and the richness of local flora and fauna. One of the attractions is the large diorama presenting various species of plants and animals inhabiting the park. There is also an artificial cave where visitors can learn about karst processes and cave life.
The museum occupies the 19th-century building of Hotel Pod Łokietkiem. It is one of the objects of the former health resort in Ojców. Renovated at the beginning of the 21st century, it houses the modern exhibition which engages every visitor.The tour starts with the 3D movie showing how Prądnik Valley formed. The next halls consist of multimedia exhibitions dedicated to inhabitants of the park and archeological troves which unveils the mystery of primal humans living in caves in Ojców. There are also six info-kiosks which provide information about the park and allow sending a virtual postcard.Less
