TV tower and viewing platform

Święty Krzyż TV Tower is a 157 m tall tower located near the monastery. Built in the first half of the 1960s, it is used for transmitting FM and TV programs in entire Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and neighboring areas. It is also a great navigation point visible from a distance of many kilometers.

The construction towers over the treetops overgrowing Święty Krzyż. The first short-range tower was built in the 1950s. The present building was put into service in 1966. It has radio and television relays.

The tower has reinforced concrete structure of 126 m in height and the 40-meter steel part with transmitters on top of it. In the past, it consisted of a viewing platform. Distant panoramas can be admired from the rebuilt in 2014 monastery's tower on Święty Krzyż.
