Missionary Museum

Missionary Museum of the Oblate Fathers is located in three rooms of the monastery on the Holy Cross. Residents of the Benedictine Monastery The Oblates are a missionary order working on all continents. The museum features items brought by missionaries from Asia, Africa and South America.
The Oblates live on the Holy Cross since 1936. There is a novitiate in which the nuns are preparing to go on a mission. Their mission is to guide visitors to the missionary museum. Although small, it has very interesting collections.
In the three halls, there were clothes, everyday objects, artwork, musical instruments and toys brought by missionaries from Cameroon, Madagascar, Turkmenistan, Japan and China. There are also monuments from the Benedictine period on the Holy Cross, old books, church documents and an exhibition depicting the history of the monastery.
