On the trail of wooden architecture in Małopolska you can also meet the historic granary in Niedzica, built at the end of the 18th century and still in almost perfect condition. This two-story wooden building once served as a grain store and now houses an ethnographic exhibit.
Granary in Niedzica is a simple building, built on a rectangular plan. Only one level of construction is available to explore - the floor and the cellars are closed to tourists. On the ground floor there is an ethnographic exhibition from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Some of the items that make up the exhibition come from homes in Niedzica. In the granary were exposed various types of furniture (table, dresser, bed, cradle), traditional clothes, everyday objects, agricultural tools and folk art.
