Myślibórz Lake District Museum is located in the monumental Gothic St. Spirit's Chapel from the 14th century. Its interior consists of three permanent expositions dedicated to the history and culture of Myślibórz and the region. The facility also organizes temporary exhibitions largely on the subject of modern art, concerts, meetings, and various workshops for youth and adolescents.
The first hall is dedicated to the exhibition titled "Myślibórz in the early Middle Ages" based on excavation works. It presents objects from the early Middle Ages such as urns, Myślibórz's wooden sewerage, and also the recreations of half-dugout, defensive ramparts, and bloomery.The second hall presents the exhibition "History of Myślibórz" displaying items from Myślibórz from the 14th century to the 20th century. It includes, among others, ceramics and crucifixes. The last room's exhibition - "History and ethnography" exhibits agricultural tools, documents, and letters.Less
