Dinosaur Park
Local name: Park Dinozaurów
Dinosaur Park in Nowiny Wielkie is a family amusement park, consisting of a forest educational path with 40 models of dinosaurs of natural size, Geo-museum, Dino-Club, a playground, a pond, an Old Oak, a mint, a souvenir shop and a Dino Bar.
An educational path in the forest is 700 meters long and shows subsequent geological periods together with animals living in that time. Geo-Museum displays nearly 500 exhibits of minerals and fossils from Poland and all over the world. Dino-Club is a multimedia classroom, where educational and art classes are held and where one can see educational movies.
On site of the Dinosaur Park grows a natural monument - the Old Oak. A trunk of the tree has a circumference of 6,4 meters and is 700 years old. Through the park flows a stream, on which a fish pond was formed. In the mint one can buy souvenirs, like 1 DINO coins. Dino Bar offers a small gastronomy.
