Fountain of the Fish King

Fountain with the image of the King of Sielawy, or the Fish King. The fish in the crown is a symbol of the city also appearing in its coat of arms. Legend has it that the Fish King was the ruler of the surrounding lakes, who would prevent fishermen from fishing, overturning their boats and tearing their nets. He was caught in an iron net and chained to the bridge.
