Galindia - Masuria's Eden

It's a holiday resort which resembles a settlement of Galindians who inhabited these areas until the 13th century. Apart from the usual accommodation, food, and drinks, the resort offers a lot of uncommon attractions. Visitors get an opportunity to learn about old traditions of the tribe and take part in their ceremonies.

Many unusual constructions help to feel like a real Galindian: sculptures of Galindian deities, caverns, thermae, demon dungeons, hunger wells, forest sacred sites, ritual stone circle, open-air museum and Galindian maze.

The interesting tradition is the assault on guests approaching the resort. This is how their adventure in the historical land starts and their ties with the outside world are cut. What awaits next are even more attractions. Guest can wear hide and run around the forest with spears or take part in the Galindian boat expedition to the amber coast. Visitors are taught how to discern animal traces and play the drums. A lot of trips, river rafting in kayaks, and sailing are also organized. The day ends with a fest in the cavern lighted by torches.
