Kadzidłowo Wildpark
Local name: Park Dzikich Zwierząt
The Wild Animals Park Kadzidłowo is located in the middle of the Pisz Forest. One of the main objectives of the park is to let visitors learn about the native species, such as increasingly rare Polish primitive horses, black grouses, wolvess, eagle owls, hazel grouses, tarpans, capercaillies, beavers, deers or elks. A unique attraction for children are miniature goats and donkeys.
Thanks to the fact that most of the animals are friendly to humans, it is possible to visit some of them on their spacious runs, feed them, and even pet. Visitors can take part in an unforgettable biology lesson thanks to direct contact with nature, as well as guides who talk about the habits of fauna representatives with passion and authentic love for animals. The park is named in honour of professor Benedykt Dybowski, a well-known naturalist and patriot. After an exile to Siberia, he contributed to the knowledge of the nature of that part of the world. Therefore, the animals from the Far East and Siberia can also be found in the park.Less
