Local name: Czarna Góra - 1205 m n.p.m.
Czarna Góra (Black Mounatin) in the Śnieżnik Mountains in the Polish part of the Eastern Sudetes has 1205 metres above sea level. It is an excellent vantage point, on top of it a 14-meter wooden tower was built. On the north-eastern slope there is a ski resort, offering routes of varying difficulty, ski freeways, lifts, and a cable car.
In the summer, tourists willingly hike up to Czarna Góra, choosing one of two routes: red or green. The first one is a fragment of the Main Sudetes Trail, in this section it leads from Hala Pod Śnieżnikiem (Śnieżnik Alp) to Lądek-Zdrój. The second route leads from Międzygórze to Stronie Śląskie. On the slope from the northern side stands the mast of the TV transmitter, it is fenced and illuminated. From the eastern side, in the sub-peak zone, tourists can see the stone run, a characteristic slope cover, which consists of rock crumbs and blocks.Less
