Mount Żar funicular

The funicular railway to Żar, the peak in Beskid Mały, runs from Międzybrodzie Żywiecki. The route is 1,300 m long. The journey to the summit takes around 5.5 minutes and takes place in two carriages that can accommodate 115 passengers each.

The bottom station is 455 meters above sea level, and there is a paid car park right next to it. The upper station is located at an altitude of 758 m above sea level. It offers a picturesque, panoramic view of the Żywiecka Valley with Żywieckie Lake and the peaks of the Żywiec and Silesian Beskids.
