The Regional Museum in Łuków is located in the former Szaniawski Convict. It focuses on collecting ethnographic and historical exhibits as well as photographic documentation. The facility has a permanent paleontological exhibition presenting ammonites from the local Jurassic glaciers.
The exhibition on folk culture shows exhibits on traditional weaving, flax processing tools, agricultural tools. You can see folk painting as well as paintings by Józef Pankiewicz and Leon Wyczółkowski. In addition, the museum collections include folk cut-outs, sculptures, ceramics and carpets made by capable weavers from Węgrów.
