The Józef Czechowicz Museum is an institution dealing with the collection, development and presentation of memorabilia of this great writer and other authors associated with Lublin.

The collection includes most of the manuscripts of Józef Czechowicz, as well as other historical monuments documenting the writer's life and work. You can also see collections concerning other artists at exhibitions. Two exhibitions are permanently functioning in the museum facility: "Józef Czechowicz (1903-1939)" and "Reading the place. The history of the tenement at 3 Złota Street and the history of the Riabinin family". On the first of them you can see numerous memorabilia of the author, including, among others, photos and documents, letters, autographs of literary works, report cards, materials documenting the work of Czechowicz in the Union of Lublin Writers. The exhibition also included about 50 volumes from a private book collection of writers with dedications from the authors.

The collection of the Józef Czechowicz Museum contains memorabilia documenting the life and work of other people, such as Józef Łobodowski, Anna Kamieńska, Czesław Miłosz, Zbigniew Herbert, Julian Tuwim, Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński and many others. The institution also presents photographs documenting the Lublin literary life.
