The Baroque palace complex consists of the main building and much younger Widow's House with hotel and restaurant. The palace is occupied by the Dominicum Łomnica Foundation. The object is opened to the public.
The palace presents the permanent exhibition "Valley of castles and gardens - Jelenia Góra Valley - common heritage" and temporary exhibitions. The interiors consist of large pieces of wall paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries. There are also organized concerts and cultural events.Another attraction is the recently renovated farm. It gives an opportunity to learn about everyday life on the farm and get regional food products from the local shop. There is also the kitchen characteristic for Polish landed gentry.The baroque building comes from the 17th century. Together with Widow's House makes a gorgeous palace complex, one of the most interesting in Lower Silesia. The palace belonged to the Küster Family from 1835 to 1945. In the years between 1945 and 1977, it was occupied by a school. Later, it was abandoned and had been falling into ruin. It was brought to its former glory in 1992.Less
