Museum Tram Barn Brus is a former tram barn, in one of the Łódź housing estates, transformed into a social museum. The exhibition includes antique trams and public transport buses. Temporary exhibitions are also organized. Visiting is possible during a cyclically organized open days or a personal appointment with the Club of Lovers of Old Trams that runs the museum.
The first tram appeared in Łódź in 1898. That year marks the oldest tram in the collection of the Museum Tram Barn Brus - Herbrand VNB-125 #11. This is 11th of 50 copies produced between 1898 and 1899. In the Museum Tram Barn, we can also see antique traffic lights, signs and boards that have been removed from use, fire-fighting equipment, ticket machines, tickets, many various objects and devices related to public transport.Less
