Zoo Łódź

The Municipal Zoological Garden in Łódź presents the endangered Asian lions as the only one in Poland. The garden covers an area of ​​approximately 16 hectares and you can admire over 2,500 animals representing about 356 different species.

You can visit thematic pavilions dedicated to various species of animals; "Świat Ptaków", butterfly shop, vivarium, monkey house, aquarium, pavilion of small mammals and a mini zoo for children. The garden was varied with a playground for children. Before entering the Lodz zoo there is a monument of Maurycy and Hawranek, created as part of the Łódź Bajkowa project.

The Łódź Zoological Garden conducts educational activities for children. The facility organizes various types of lectures and didactic events. Created for the youngest visitors to the mini zoo, it allows the youngest visitors to contact the animals directly. The Municipal Zoological Garden in Łódź runs a program of adopting favorite animals.
