The Botanical Garden in Łódź occupies an area of ​​67 hectares and is the largest Botanical Garden in Poland. Facility is comprised ofs nine thematic sections, such as the Polish flora department, the Japanese garden, the ornamental plants department, the department of medicinal and industrial plants, the systematics department, the biology and plant morphology department, the alpine garden, and the arboretum.

In the Łódź Botanical Garden there are over 3,500 plants gathered and cultivated. In the garden is also an interesting collection of greenhouse plants of more than 2,000 species and varieties, located in the Palm House. There, in three pavillions are presented: Mediterranean flora, cacti, tropical flora, and the oldest palms in Poland.

Created in the Botanical Garden "Village open-air museum of central Poland", with a historic wooden peasant cottage, barn, backyard garden, and weaving workshop, it brings visitors closer to the traditions of the region. There are workshops for children at the open-air museum. Visitors can see how fabrics are made and create their own products.
