The palace is a neo-Baroque building from the early 20th century surrounded by a large park. It belongs to the University of Warmia and Mazury and is one of the best preserved monuments of this type in the province. Much of the palace's permanent equipment has survived to the present day. These include stucco ceilings, fireplaces, wardrobes and bathrooms preserved in the original.
Currently, the palace is the seat of the Agricultural Experimental Station of the University of Olsztyn. In the future, it is planned to open a conference center with accommodation and gastronomy. Modernization works in this direction are underway.
The palace survived World War II intact. Only movable property was looted. The perfectly preserved interiors served as scenery to make Filip Bajon's "Butler" movie. The palace is also open to the public.
