This magnificent building has two towers with a height. 62 m. The one was located vantage point, which offers a panoramic view of the city. For the most valuable equipment of the temple are large, stained-glass windows from the early twentieth century, with a total area of ​​300 m. The church is also impressive neo-Gothic altar from 1906, empora nineteenth century, richly decorated pulpit with a canopy and decorated with bas-reliefs, antique benches for 1117 locations. The gem of the church is the organ from 1500, completely rebuilt several times. Due to its wording authorities are among the finest instruments in the country. Evangelical Church of the Virgin Mary is one of the oldest churches in Lower Silesia. The origins of the temple dates back to the twelfth century. Church over the centuries has experienced several fires, each time it was rebuilt and its present appearance is due to the work of the revaluation made in 1905-1908. During this renovation even installed central heating and is the only temple in Legnica the church was equipped with gas lighting. Since 2005, successive repairs are carried out. Church of Our Lady, the only one in Legnica since the Reformation is continuously evangelical faith.
