There is a winter garden on the ground floor of the historic Lazienki Orangerie. You can see exotic plants such as palm trees, lemons, bananas, many varieties of cacti, as well as small animals. Designed by Peter Aigner, the classicist Orangery building with the stucco works of Frederick Bauman was built in the years 1799-1802. The Orangery is two storeys high, and from the east there is an arcade crossing with the palace. The façade is decorated with portico supported by Ionic columns.
