The Route of Vanishing Professions

Local name: Szlak Ginących Zawodów

An unusual attraction in Kudowa Zdrój allows you to personalize the way you work in the dying baker, blacksmith, weaver and potter. You can read the workshop and participate in the process of creating utility items. The tour also includes the production of butter and a visit to the mini-zoo.

The "trail" is located in the private farm of Urszula and Boguslaw Gorczynski, where special rooms for the climate and equipment typical of traditional rural work in four occupations were developed. There is a hand-forged stove with an oven and anvil, a bread-making oven, a weaving workshop, complete with an exhibition of ready-made fabrics, clothes, napkins, and a pottery workshop.

After the show you can try your own strength in turning the clay pot, or taste the homemade bread with homemade butter. The mini-zoo on the farm is an opportunity to meet dozens of species of birds, goats, rams and even deer. On the premises there is a special building adapted for feasting by the fire.
