Toy Museum

On the area of 300 m2, several thousand toys are presented, the oldest of which are over one hundred years old. At the exhibition you can also learn about the history of toys that is dating back to antiquity.

The exhibition includes traditional dolls, vehicles, soldiers, blocks, but also complex genre scenes, theater and nativity scenes, as well as a rich collection of mechanical, optical and playing toys. In the museum you can get acquainted with almost every form of toy industry that existed throughout history.

There are both wooden and textile toys, clay and metal toys, and also plastic toys from the recent history. A special collection includes school supplies and an arranged class from half a century ago. Thanks to the collections of the museum you can get to know the culture, costumes, customs and everyday objects from the past.
