Toy Museum

Museum of Toys in Krynica-Zdrój is the largest project of this kind in Poland. It was opened in 2002 and from this time it gathered a collection of several thousand exhibits: old toys, home theaters, Christmas cribs and other miniature items reminding of childhood times.

In the Museum of Toys there is a huge collection of european toys from ancient times until 1980s. At the expositions there are many types of dolls, mascots, blocks, tin toys, Child's plays and optical toys. Among exhibits, there are also toys known from the movies.

Collection of Museum of Toys in Krynica Zdrój is still growing. The mission of the museum is to thoroughly illustrate the history of production of toys in Europe. Besides a precious knowledge one can gain during the visit, institution is also a place of fun where children visiting museum can take part in special attractions and interesting workshops.
