Nikifor Museum

The Nikifor Museum in Krynica-Zdrój is housed in a characteristic wooden building known as "Romanówka". There are various souvenirs and paintings by Nikifor Krynicki, born and buried in Krynica-Zdrój.

Nikifor Krynicki was a world famous outstanding primitivist. 77 works of the Krynica painter managed to gather and properly display in the interior of the villa "Romanówka", serving as a branch of the District Museum in Nowy Sacz since 1995. In addition to the paintings of Nikifor Krynicki in the museum there is also a chest with paintbrushes and stamps, which he signed his works.

Also at the Nikifora Museum are photographs of the artist, books (Polish and foreign) about his life as well as catalogs and invitations to the exhibitions of Nikifor Krynicki's works.
