Szołayski House is one of the departments of the National Museum in Kraków. Permanent exhibitions are dedicated to Stanisław Wyspiański and Feliks "Manggha" Jasieński, Polish critic, collector of art, and one of the most generous museum's donators. The first part presents the life and works of the Lesser-Poland artist, his paintings, interior designs, applied arts, and works related to theatre. The second part largely consists of paintings, furniture, sculptures, and the re-created Jasieński's apartment in Kraków.
Apart from permanent and temporary exhibitions, there are also organized lectures, concerts, theatre performances and art lessons for youth and adolescents. Shop and cafe are located on the ground floor. The exposition is adapted for disabled people.Less
