After the abbey existing since the 13th century until the present time there is a church. In the interior of the temple preserved rich equipment and original architectural elements. Noteworthy is the main altar with paintings by Bartlomiej Strobel, as well as ten paintings depicting events from the history of the monastery, Rococo choir, 17th-century pulpit and beautiful stalls.
The construction of the church began in 1289, but it was carried out in stages, of which the last stage was already in the 17th-18th centuries. Such a stretch in time made the temple not retain its original gothic style, and represents the baroque style. Gothic elements have survived two cantilever brackets in the chancel and north row of chapels. South chapels, on the other hand, were made and already in Baroque style. In the church you can also admire fragments of the 14th-century frieze of colorful glazed ceramic tiles.
The monastery buildings in the neighborhood were also rebuilt into baroque style in the 18th century. From 1819 on the command of Fryderyk Wilhelma III in the monastery buildings is functioning prison.
