Like many places in Kolobrzeg, the Stone Shack is a remnant of the Fortress of Kołobrzeg. It is located on the shore of the beach on the eastern edge of the city. You can get there by Fredra Street or by bike, where the final stop is near the swing. On the way you can see the remnants of a twin bastion called the Wolf's Fort, which is now an amphitheater.
It is worth visiting the old fortifications during the storms and experiencing an unforgettable adventure. The sea enters the beach and attacks the fortress with rage. Formerly, the bastion was surrounded by a stone wall from the sea and hence its name. Remainder of the redoubt is used today for the restaurant and discotheque.
The shroud was created in the nineteenth century to defend the harbor - thus destroying hostile ships. Since the end of the nineteenth century, he lost his defensive function. Since then, its popularity has been maintained - Kolobrzeg has been adapted to the role of a health resort, and the shack has become a place of lethargy and relaxation.
